Family Photo Shoot of Dale’sFamily

by Harish Mohan on Feb.12, 2010, under Family

Today we were invited over for dinner by one of our colleague Dale .Dale has been working with Novell for quite a long time now.Myself & Dale work for the quality team at Novell and for that matter we were able to interact for couple of times before i came to US.I was very exited to visit his family and to know more about their culture & their family. And for my surprise today Dale & his family prepared dishes which were very close to Indian cuisines & really made us feel at home. His house is in Highland,Utah.High land is a very nice, calm city in Utah, which is rapidly being developed now.The food was great & his children fun to be with. They played some nice piano for us & we had a blast. All the while, when others were busy chatting with each other ,i was moving around with my camera picking up some shots and here they are for you guys to see…

Last but not the least,I thank Dale & his family for calling us over and allowing us to spend some time with them and also for making us feel at home..

Family shoot at Historic Wheelers Farm,Utah.

by Harish Mohan on Feb.07, 2010, under Family

After getting my new camera i was always in search of a couple on whom i could try my photography skills.atlast my chance came in form of my friend  keshav & his wife shyley. These guys were generous enough to pose for me & we choose wheelers farm in salt lake city,Utah to be the location because of its historic status & also for its amazing location. The story of this farm began on June 17, 1886, when Sariah Hankinson Pixton married Henry Joseph Wheeler and together they made their home on this seventy-five acre farm. Henry run the prosperous dairy enterprise, Sariah and the six Wheeler children each assumed a portion of the chores around the farm. Everyday there were cows to milk, eggs to gather, and wood to chop. Churning butter, making soap, trimming wicks, and cutting ice were just a few of the many necessary tasks in 1969 Salt Lake County purchased the 75 acres which comprise today’s farm. Wheeler Historic Farm was placed on both the Utah State and National register of Historic Places in 1976. Originally started as a 1976 project of the Bicentennial of the American Revolution, the restored museum farm evolved during a decade of historical research, reconstruction, and restoration.

I wish these guys a very happy married life…
